Ken King spent 29 years owning and operating a pool service company across Las Vegas and Mesquite, Nevada. In 2020, at the point of career burnout, he sold the business, moved to Southern Utah — where he'd been riding bikes recreationally for 16 years — and launched Outta Here eBikes. He is a self-described avid bicycle enthusiast; the business is the second chapter rather than the detour.
Outta Here eBikes operates from Springdale (736 Zion Park Blvd, adjacent to the Zion park entrance) and Bryce Canyon City (1945 SR-12). Both locations offer eBike rentals by the 2, 4, 6, or 8-hour block, plus guided 3-hour tours. Helmets and locks are included. The Springdale location puts riders directly on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive corridor — accessible by e-bike without entering the shuttle queue — and the Bryce Canyon location gives access to Highway 12's iconic stretch between Bryce and Boulder Mountain.
Two locations covering two of Utah's five national parks, with an operator who planned the move deliberately rather than stumbled into it.
**Verification notes** Website live; Ken King confirmed as owner via Voyage Utah Magazine profile and ZoomInfo. Founded 2020 confirmed. Two locations (Springdale and Bryce Canyon City) confirmed on site. Phone confirmed.
