Zion Canyon Brewing Company opened in 2006 in the basement of Majestic View Lodge in Springdale — at the Zion National Park entrance, where millions of visitors pass through annually and almost none of them were getting a locally brewed pint before the Harris brothers changed that. The brewery changed hands in 2012-2013, moving to ownership under the Pace family, and has operated continuously as the first and longest-running craft brewery in Southern Utah.
The original Zion Canyon Brew Pub sits at 95 Zion Park Blvd, Springdale, with river canyon views and a year-round live music and events calendar. Station II Bar, a taproom at 142 N Main St in downtown St. George, serves the same lineup in the city. Head brewer Jeremy Baxter joined in 2013 and built the current recipe lineup. The Springdale pub runs 11:30 AM to 9 PM daily. Kegs distribute to restaurants in Kanab, Cedar City, and St. George.
