Kanab Creek runs through Kanab on its way south into Arizona, and a few miles of informal singletrack run along the creek and the surrounding BLM benches north of town. The riding is intermediate, the surface is mixed dirt and sand, and the use is mostly local. Visitors with rentals from Willow Canyon Outdoor sometimes ride the area as a second ride after Mansard.
A network in development
The Kanab area has been slowly developing more bike infrastructure over the last several years, and the Kanab Creek trails are part of that growth. The trails are not yet formally signed or maintained by a designated crew, and the layout shifts as volunteers cut new connectors. Trailforks coverage is partial; current condition relies on local knowledge.
Where Kanab Creek sits in the 435
Kanab Creek is one of three named bike areas in Kanab proper (with Mansard and Jacob Hamblin Park). Together they make Kanab a viable half-day bike town for visitors stacking a permit-driven trip with some recreation. The page is a stub because the riding here is limited; visitors planning a serious Kanab bike day should ride Mansard and Jacob Hamblin Park first.
