Fred Murray started Riggatti's around 2008 by bolting a wood-fired oven to the bed of a refurbished, cherry-red 1940s Ford pickup and parking it in St. George. The cart turned into a brick-and-mortar; the brick-and-mortar turned into multiple St. George locations and an expansion north to Springville. The pizzas are still wood-fired and the dough is still made in house, and the brand has held a consistent place on local "best pizza" lists for more than a decade.
For 435 Alliance, Riggatti's is a homegrown St. George multi-location independent with a clean founder story.
