Jeff Fawcett spent his early years in his father's glass shop — an after-school and summer education that taught him the craft long before he formally chose it as a career. He went to college for electronics engineering and took a detour through Arizona and Nevada working in electronics and computer manufacturing. Then his father called him back to St. George with a proposition: let's start a glass company together.
They filed the LLC on January 2, 1991, as Faus Discount Glass — a name that has since been shortened to Faus Glass, Inc., incorporated in 1996. What started as two people working out of a three-bay garage grew to a full-scale fabricating operation employing 13 people, serving Utah and Nevada. After the founding generation transitioned, Jeff's sons Alex and Cameron Fawcett came in as equal co-owners after completing business management degrees — a deliberate succession that kept the family intact in the equity structure.
The company is based at 1406 S Hillcrest Dr in Washington. Faus specializes in custom glass fabrication for residential and commercial work: frameless shower doors, custom mirrors, residential window replacement, glass railings, and interior glass partitions. They hold a Utah contractor's license (352610-5501 S240) and a Nevada contractor's license (0052296 C8), reflecting consistent cross-border work in the Mesquite and Las Vegas markets.
For architects and contractors working across Southern Utah and Northern Arizona, Faus is one of the few shops with the fabrication depth and the licensing to handle commercial glazing at scale.
